Instructions for this Free Happy Birthday Card SVG Template

If you’re new to making cards with your Cricut, don’t worry. I’ve included step-by-step instructions and helpful tips to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible.

You will need a Cricut Card Mat

To make this card, you will need a Cricut Card Mat for Cricut Joy or Cricut Maker/Explore (size R20 – 4.25 in x 5.5 in).

Cricut Design Space Instructions

1. Upload the SVG file to Cricut Design Space.
2. Ungroup the layers. Then select the text layer and change the operation from Cut to Pen.

3. Attach the text layer to your card layer by selecting both layers while holding down the shift key and then choosing the “Attach” option.

4. You can now cut out your card.
5. Upload and cut out the Insert Card SVG file, or use Cricut insert cards (size 4 x 5.25 inches).
