Rainbow Dot Marker Printable Template (+ Matching Coloring Pages)
I started out planning a simple rainbow dot marker printable, but as I was working on it, I realized that one version doesn’t always fit all.
So I ended up creating three different printables, each with a different number of rainbow bands. This way you can easily choose the version that works best for the activity and the attention span you’re working with.
And since I was already in design mode, I made matching coloring pages/rainbow templates too! Each dot marker version has a clean outline version to go with it. Ideal for coloring with crayons, markers, or pencils.
This printable set is perfect for spring, weather units, or St. Patrick’s Day crafts. You can print what works best for your child and come back to the others later.
What’s included
This printable set includes three different skill levels, and each one comes as both a dot marker page and a classic coloring page. Whether your little one loves dotting, coloring, or both, you’ve got options!
This free rainbow printable coloring set includes a total of six pages, designed to work for a range of ages and skill levels.
For each rainbow version (3 bands, 4 bands, and 5 bands) you’ll get:
- A dot marker page with large blank circles to fill.
- A matching coloring page without dots. Can be used as a rainbow template.
Each page features the same fluffy cloud design at the bottom, with the number of rainbow bands increasing from simple to more advanced.
You can start with the easiest version and work your way up, or pick the one that best suits your child’s focus and fine motor skills right now.
3-band rainbow: Great for toddlers and first-time dotters.
4-band rainbow: A nice in-between, simple but with more detail.
5-band rainbow: Perfect for preschoolers working on color matching and control.

Tips for Using this Rainbow Printable Coloring Set
- Mix and match: Try one dot marker page and one coloring version to extend the activity
