Free Printable Summer Bucket List Worksheet for Kids
There’s something about summer crafts that always feels a little more relaxed. Bright colors, beach themes, and simple activities just make the day feel lighter.
This summer bucket list worksheet for kids has been sitting on my desk all week, and I finally finished putting everything together. It turned out so cute.
This printable beach craft is shaped like a beach bucket and comes with fun summer pieces like sand, a shovel, and a smiling starfish.

The best part is that the bucket doubles as a summer bucket list activity. You can write favorite summer ideas right onto the bucket list and check them off throughout the season.
I made this as a simple cut and paste craft that works well for preschool and kindergarten. It is easy to prep, fun to color, and perfect for summer bulletin boards or quiet craft time at home.
The free printable template is available in both black and white and full color versions. The black and white template is great for coloring, while the color version makes prep extra quick.

How to make this Beach Bucket List Craft
Step 1: Print the template
Choose either the black and white or color version of the printable template.
If using the black and white version, print it on white paper or cardstock so it’s easy to color.
Step 2: Color the pieces
Color all the beach pieces before cutting them out.
This is my favorite part because there are so many fun summer color combinations to use. Bright blues, pinks, yellows, and greens all look great on this craft.

The bucket can be any color too. I used blue for mine, but orange or purple would be really cute.
Step 3: Cut out the pieces
Carefully cut around all the printable pieces.
The shapes are simple and large enough for preschool and kindergarten learners to practice cutting skills without getting frustrated.
Step 4: Glue the bucket together
Start by gluing the sand onto the top of the bucket.

Next, attach the handle behind the bucket.

Then glue on the shovel and starfish decorations.

Step 5: Fill in the bucket list
Write summer activities onto the lines of the bucket list.

This part makes every craft unique because everyone can create their own summer plans.
Step 6: Display the finished craft
Once dry, the beach bucket craft can be displayed on a bulletin board, refrigerator, classroom wall, or summer learning board.
It also looks really cute hanging in a playroom or craft area during summer.
Great for Preschool and Kindergarten
This printable beach craft works especially well for preschool and kindergarten because it combines several simple learning skills into one activity.
Children can practice:
- Coloring
- Scissor skills
- Gluing
- Handwriting
- Following directions
- Creative thinking
The bucket list section also encourages conversation about summer activities and favorite seasonal traditions.
I always love crafts that naturally encourage discussion without needing extra worksheets or prompts.
