Today I’m sharing a new set of free printable Christmas I Spy games! I made three different versions, from a super easy one with large pictures to a harder one with lots of little Christmas illustrations to count.

I love making printables that only need a printer and a pencil. And with Christmas getting closer, I thought these would be a fun addition to my winter activity collection.

Free Printable Christmas I Spy Worksheets

These Christmas I Spy printables are a fun way to practice counting and observation skills while enjoying a little holiday activity.

They’re great for Christmas classroom activities, preschool and kindergarten worksheets, or a quiet afternoon at home.

I made the worksheets in black and white to keep them printer-friendly. The pictures can also be colored in after finishing the game, which makes it a fun Christmas coloring activity too!

Easy Christmas I Spy Printable

The easy version features 13 large Christmas illustrations with six different objects to find and count.

I made this one especially simple for preschoolers and younger kids who are still practicing their counting skills. The pictures are large and spaced apart, so they’re easier to recognize.

Medium Christmas I Spy Printable

The medium version has more pictures and introduces two additional Christmas objects: stockings and wreaths.

The illustrations are smaller and spread across the page, making this a fun counting challenge for kindergarten kids and those ready for something a little harder.

Hard Christmas I Spy Printable

Christmas I Spy worksheet marked “Hard,” with holiday objects to find and count, resting on a blue folder beside colored pencils.

This version is filled with lots of little Christmas illustrations! Some objects appear several times, so finding and counting everything takes a bit more patience.

It’s a fun option for older kids or anyone who enjoys a more challenging seek-and-find game.

How to play Christmas I Spy

These Christmas counting games are really simple to play. All that’s needed is a printed worksheet and a pencil, crayon, or marker.

Step 1: Choose a difficulty level

Pick the easy, medium, or hard Christmas I Spy worksheet. Start with the easy version for younger kids or try the harder pages for more of a challenge.

Step 2: Find the Christmas pictures

Look at the small pictures in the counting section at the bottom of the worksheet.

Search the larger picture area for each matching Christmas object.

Step 3: Count and write the answers

Count how many times each object appears. Write the total on the line beside the matching picture.

For extra practice, circle or color each object as it’s counted. This makes it easier to keep track of the pictures.

Step 4: Check the answer key

Once all the pictures have been counted, compare the numbers with the included answer key.

The answer keys are especially handy for the harder worksheets!
