Free Thanksgiving Activity Placemat Printable for Kids
Thanksgiving is a great time for family gatherings, and having a few simple activities ready can make the day a little more fun.
I made this free Thanksgiving activity placemat with several little games and coloring activities, all on one printable page!

It includes a word search, maze, I Spy counting game, quick quiz, and space for drawing. Just print a copy, grab some crayons, and it’s ready to go.
This printable is a fun addition to the Thanksgiving dinner table, but it also works well for classroom parties, homeschool activities, and other fall celebrations.
What’s Included in this free Thanksgiving Activity Placemat?
I wanted to fit a good variety of activities onto one page without making it too crowded. There are five different activities, along with a cute turkey illustration to color.
Thanksgiving Word Search
The word search includes six Thanksgiving-themed words, such as turkey, pie, and feast. The words are hidden horizontally and vertically, making this a fairly easy puzzle for elementary-aged kids.
Thanksgiving Maze
Next is a little maze with a pumpkin pie waiting at the finish. Follow the paths from start to finish to find the pie!
I Spy & Count
This section features little Thanksgiving illustrations, including pumpkins, apples, and slices of pie.
Count how many of each picture appear, then write the answers in the spaces at the bottom. It’s a simple way to add a little counting practice to the activity sheet.

Thanksgiving Quick Quiz
I also added three multiple-choice Thanksgiving trivia questions. They cover familiar holiday traditions, including Thanksgiving foods and the day after Thanksgiving.
The quiz is a fun little challenge for kids who enjoy answering questions and learning about the holiday.
Draw & Color
At the bottom of the placemat is an “I am thankful for…” drawing space.
Kids can draw something they’re thankful for, whether that’s family, friends, pets, or a favorite activity. There’s also a big turkey in the middle of the page to color.
How to use this Thanksgiving Activity Placemat
Simply print the free placemat on regular white paper and grab some crayons or colored pencils. Kids can work through the word search, maze, I Spy game, and quiz, then color the turkey and draw something they’re thankful for.
It’s a fun, no-prep activity for Thanksgiving dinner, classroom parties, or a quiet afternoon at home.
I hope this little placemat adds some fun to the Thanksgiving table!
