Instructions: How to make the Snowman Coloring Craft
Step 1: Print the template
Let’s begin building our snowman! Start by printing the snowman sheet. I recommend using cardstock if you have it on hand, just so it holds up better when kids are gluing everything together. Regular printer paper works too though!
Step 2: Cut out each part of the snowman.
This part is great for practicing scissors skills. Help younger kids if needed, especially around the smaller parts like the hat and scarf.

Step 3. Color all the pieces.
Now that the pieces are cut, let your little ones have fun decorating their snowman. They can stick with classic colors or get creative.

Step 4: Start gluing the pieces together.
Once you’re done adding some color to it, pick up a piece of colored paper that you can glue your snowman onto. Place the lower part of the snowman at the bottom of the paper and glue it in place.

Next, take the middle part and stick it above that first piece.

Once that’s securely in place, let’s finish him up by gluing on his face and hat pieces.

Step 5: Add extra details if you want.
Want to make it more fun? You can add googly eyes, glitter, or even tiny pom-poms for the buttons. I love adding little crafty touches to make each snowman unique.
Let me know if you try it! I’d love to see how your kids decorate their snowmen!
